Put up the video from my L3 attempt on may 7th: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZDfvoyBYFA
Rocket's ok, but the rubber o-ring I was using to seal on of my AV bay pods failed, causing my second altimeter to intiate my main parachute ejection charge at apogee. Long walk recovery :> main build blog: http://mylevel3.wordpress.com |

Its was a great flight. I am sure you will get your L-3 next time. The rocket was just great looking. Gary |

Thanks everyone.
I asked Frank & Bob if I could build my 1/2 all fiberglass PR Patriot for my next L3 attempt, which seems indestructible. Once the weeds and tree's start sprouting, Bong will eat my paint job alive :> If not, I'll just wait until MWP9 in the fall. I've been building like crazy this winter. Should be a fun summer. |

Just keep your next L-3 try as simple as you can. I did mine at Bong on a 7.5" with PML parts and single deploy. The reload was a AT M-1315 the flight went about a mile high. Good Luck Gary |

Gary,
Good thought. Did you use two parachutes & have the nosecone come down separately, or was it all connected? |

I just used 1 chute a Par120 Winds were out of the SW. Use you GPS or a tracker and you should have no problem finding it.
