I will be bringing a group of Students to the April 16th launch of Tripoli Wisconsin. .
We are rebuilding the rocket I flew at NSL the 7.5 inch on on a M motor. It crashed at Midwest Power. We are dedicating the flight to Tim the Wildman. The rocket is about 9 feet tall and will be painted to look like Aaron Rodgers. On the front of the rocket it will say It's Bear Season and the back side will say Beat Da Bears. We are in the processof painting it now and when it is done I will be posting some picutes of it on our web site. It will be flying on a M 1500 Mojave green motor that I got on sale from Tim. Judy I know you will not like that rocket much so we have another one you will like if you are there. This year is the 40th anniversity of Michigan launching two Nike Apache rockets into space from the Keweenaw Missile range Near Copper Harbor Michigan http://www.gt.org/keweenaw-rocket-base/ Right now we are painting this rocket as well and will have picutres of it up soon. It is being painted like the two that went to space. The rocket is 14 feet tall and is two stages. I am writing now so that you might think about attending that launch. Those two rockets will both fly on M motors and should be alot of fun. I will let you know more about what we are doing as the launch comes closer Bill |

With the weather forecast for this weekend there is a good chance we will not be bring the Nike Apache rocket to the launch. to bring it on a cloudy rainy day for a high launch does not make sense to me. We are still bringing the Its bear Season beat the bears at it will fly much lower.
