Found remnents of a rocket hanging south of the tree line and west of the corn field across the barbed wire fence. Nose cone maroon in color, damaged, and motor reload casing salvaged. Found April 20th at Bong. This rocket has been hanging for awhile.
If you can desribe the casing, we'll get it back to you. Kenny B |

I think I spoke to you @ Aug 9 launch....I lost a 3" Giant Leap Talon in that area last year with a CTI/Cesaroni 4-grain casing. I honestly forget my paint scheme, but I figure if it's a Talon w/that casing, it'd have to be mine, as that's a pretty unique combination!

Hi Dean. The casing size found doesn't match up wiht your description and looking at the parts recovered it wasn't the Talon.
Sorry. |

it wasn't the remains of a rocket that is 38mm in diameter, with a DR Rocket 38/480 motor in it?
